So If You Haven't Heard....

If you haven't heard already, Isei and I are expecting a baby girl the middle of April. We are both so excited and can't wait to see who she looks like. She is doing great and is healthy. Her name is going to be Adiama Sue Gata. She is going to be named after both her grandmothers. She is an active little thing and I love being able to feel her. I am having so much fun picking out the stuff for the nursery and making baby blankets. My mom has been such a big help in teaching and showing me how to make them.

Isei and I moved into a house last Saturday to help prepare for the baby. We are loving the new house. I will get photos and upload them later.

Our Fiji Trip

We're back from Fiji and are missing our Fiji home. We loved everything and especially loved being with our family. It was hard for Isei to come back knowing he was leaving his family for so long before we see them again. I loved meeting all of my family in Fiji. They are amazing people and I'm so glad to see where Isei comes from. I loved everything about my experience in our Fiji home. I loved the food, all the green colors, all the taxi rides from my Naughty Uncle, playing with my nieces and nephews, spending time with my new sisters and mom and watching Isei interact with all of his family. Here are a few pictures of our trip.

Bula Vinaka

I just wanted to say hello from the beautiful Island of Fiji. Isei and I are enjoying every minute we get to spend here. Isei has not stopped smiling since we arrived here. It was been such a wonderful experience to meet his family and see where he grew up. We will see all of you when we get back to the states...

Exciting News

No, I'm not pregnant, but Isei did get his green card. It was so fast and we are so excited that we can go to Fiji...Life is good and we are looking forward to the summer. Isei is applying for a teaching position for next year. Everybody keep your fingers cross for us. Isei is substitute teaching and just loving it. We walk through the different stores in Vernal and all I hear is, "Hi, Isei," from all these kids. I am finishing up the school year and loving my 5th graders. They are turning into teenagers and it so fun to see them discover new things.

Standing Up!

Isei and I just heard about the upcoming Big Love episode where they are going to depict actual temple ceremonies. I was first appalled and trying to figure out what I could do for what I believe in and know is the truth. It seems the LDS church has been under fire for standing up for the core values. As I continued to look at different sites and considered different ways I could do something I thought I should look at what the church has said about the matter. There press release was so calming and helped me know what is important as a member of the church. As I finished the press release I thought about the Standard of Truth I used to say each day as a missionary. Here it is...

The standard of truth has been erected. No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing. Persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, and calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth bodly, nobly and independent, until it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country and sounded in every ear, til the purposes of God shall be accomplished and the great Jehovah shall say, the work is done.

The truth will go forward and the Lord will bless us each as we endure and peacefully stand up for what we believe in.

Just Updating

Hey everyone! We just wanted to update our blog. Isei and I are doing great. Isei just got back from San Diego watching the 7s and had a great time. He is glad to be home to see his honey, but enjoyed his time with the boys. Isei is not the only one that gets to travel this month I get to go to Phoneix in a week for a conference and I can't wait. Tomorrow Isei is starting the training for substitute teaching and is planning on applying for a teaching position in the next couple of months. I am so proud of him. He takes such good care of me.

The Cutest Little Mata Lolo

This is the newest edition on my side of the family. My sister and brother-in-law having been waiting awhile to adopt this little angel. They have spent many years and prayers hoping for their family to grow. Brooklyn is their little miracle that entered this world on December 30th. She is beautiful and loves to cuddle. I'm sure she is going to be spoiled rotten, but we all love her very much. Here are some photos of her.

Weekend in Pocatello

Isei and I spent the weekend in Pocatello with Ifireimi and Celeste and their beautiful boys. I wish I had the pictures to post. Isei went fishing in the snow...he loved it. I will post pictures so you can see how huge the fish are that my man brought home for me.

We went up for Kaveni's blessing. It was great to spend time with the Tabakece's and be their for that special day.

Life is back to normal after the holidays. I am back in school and Isei is back at work. Life is good and we love being married and together.
